What this tool does
JPG, PNG, WebP and HEIC. The orientation recorded by the camera is applied automatically, so photos taken sideways arrive the right way up.

Frequently asked questions
- Do sideways photos come out the right way up?
- Yes. The orientation recorded by the camera is read and applied automatically: a photo taken holding the phone sideways comes out upright, without you having to rotate it.
- Are iPhone HEIC files accepted?
- Yes, in browsers that can read them, Safari first, on Mac and iPhone alike: the conversion then happens in the browser, with no separate converter. Chrome and Firefox do not decode them; the tool says so, and saving the photo as JPG is enough.
- One page per image, or several images per page?
- One page per image. By default the page is A4, turned the same way as the image, which sits centred inside a margin; “Fit to the image” instead makes a page exactly the size of the photo, with no white border. For a contact sheet you want a layout application.
