Your PDFs stay with you
31 PDF tools. 22 of them run entirely in this tab: nothing is sent, with no account and no size ceiling. The other 9 go through our server, and each tool says so before you drop anything. No watermark, anywhere.

How this is built
Nothing leaves without a reason
Local processing is the rule. The server is the exception, announced before you drop a file and never after.
No invented friction
No account, no artificial wait, no paywalled second file. Every remaining friction has a technical cause we can name.
We say what we do
A compression that would destroy your text is called by its name. An approximate conversion is flagged as one.
Common questions
- 01Are my files really processed on my machine?
- For 22 of the 31 tools, yes, and you can check it. Cut your connection once the page has loaded and the tool still works. Flip the backlight switch and each tool shows you its actual route.
- 02What about the other 9?
- OCR, office conversions, markup rendering and translation depend on software that does not exist in a browser. Those files are sent, processed, then deleted after two hours. It says so on the tool's page before you drop anything.
- 03Why is there no account?
- Because no tool here needs one. An account would exist to track you or to bill you, and the site does neither.
- 04Is there a size limit?
- Not for the local tools: the only ceiling is your device's memory, and a one-gigabyte file goes through on an ordinary machine. Server tools are capped at 200 MB per file.
- 05Will the output carry a watermark?
- No. Never, on any tool. A watermark is something you choose to add, not a mark imposed on you.
- 06Does translation really keep the layout?
- Yes. The page structure is read before translating: columns, tables, figures and formulas stay where they were. You can download the translated version alone, or a bilingual one with the pages side by side.
