Frequently asked questions
- Does removing a page really erase its content?
- Yes, the whole page disappears from the document you get back. But to remove information inside a page you are keeping, you need Redact: only that tool takes the characters out of the content stream.
- Can blank pages be dropped automatically?
- Not automatically: a page that looks blank may still carry a watermark, a header or a background. The choice stays yours, on the layout table where every page is visible at once.
- What happens to the page numbers?
- Numbers printed into the document stay exactly as they are: they are part of the page artwork. To renumber the pages, run Page numbers afterwards.
